Booking Terms & Conditions

Reservation Confirmation & Cancellation Policy

If you cancel within 24 hours of your reservation, arrive with fewer guests than booked, or do not attend, a $50 per person fee will apply. For bookings with a set menu or beverage package, the final guest count confirmed 24 hours prior will be charged as a minimum. Different cancellation policies may apply to group bookings (50+ guests), function spaces, venue buyouts and other special event bookings.

Service & Surcharge

A 10% service charge applies to all bookings of 11 or more guests and is distributed to our wait staff as a gratuity for their service. On Sundays and public holidays, a surcharge of $5 per person applies – except when the service charge is in effect. Additional fees may apply to all card transactions, with rates varying by card type and payment method. Please note, third-party processing fees (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, or in-store terminals) are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.

Private Dining Rooms & Minimum Spend

When reserving a private or semi-private dining room or space, it is necessary to adhere to the minimum spend requirements. The minimum spend is exclusively applicable to food and beverages and does not encompass any additional fees or charges, such as the 10% service charge and the $5 per person Sunday/Public Holiday surcharge. In the event that the minimum spend is not attained, you have the option to supplement the balance by purchasing food and beverages. Alternatively, a room hire fee will be implemented to fulfill the minimum spend requirement.

BYO & Cakeage

We regret to inform you that outside beverages are not permitted at our establishment. As we are a fully licensed venue, we proudly provide an extensive selection of wines and beverages through our comprehensive list. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to offering you our exceptional range of libations to complement your dining experience. Should you choose to bring your own cake, please note that a cakeage fee of $3 per person will be applicable.

Menus & Beverage Packages

Group bookings of 11 or more guests are required to dine on one of our set menus. All menu items and prices are subject to change based on seasonal availability.

Arrival and Seating Durations

Kindly emphasise to your guests the importance of arriving slightly ahead of your agreed time so that you can enjoy your meal within the confirmed time period. We recommend you arrive 15 minutes prior to your seating time. Please note that alternative seating durations may be implemented on special event days. We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise; however, in order to accommodate all guests, we can only hold your reservation and table for a maximum of 15 minutes beyond the scheduled reservation time. Regrettably, should you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your table may be released to ensure a smooth operation and minimise any inconvenience to other guests.

Requested Seating & Capacity

We acknowledge and appreciate your seating preferences and we make every effort to accommodate them; however, we cannot guarantee specific seating arrangements. Kindly understand that for groups exceeding 12 guests, it may be necessary to allocate seating across multiple tables.

Discounts & Promotions

Discounts and promotions may not be combined with other promotional offers and require a minimum purchase of a main course. Some promotions may require a dine in reservation. All discount and promotional decisions are made at the discretion of the Venue Manager.

Gift Card Terms & Conditions

Gift cards can be used at The Meat & Wine Co restaurants in Australia only. Its value can be used as full or part payment of your bill when dining in-store only.

Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash and no change is given. Any balances remaining on the card can be used for future purchases prior to the expiry of the card.

Gift cards expire 36 months from the date of purchase of the gift card, after which time any balances remaining on the card will no longer be accessible. 

The balance on the card cannot be reloaded or topped up and the card should be disposed of on the earlier of redemption or expiry. You can check the balance on your card at The Meat & Wine Co or by calling any location.

Like cash, if this card is lost or stolen, it cannot be replaced.

Dining Experience Terms

  • This dining experience voucher can be used at any of The Meat & Wine Co restaurants in Australia within 12 months from the purchase date identified on the voucher.
  • This dining experience is valid for lunch service only and is not redeemable during dinner service.
  • It cannot be reloaded or topped up.
  • The dining experience entitles you to enjoy our 2 Course Steakhouse Lunch with Drink for two people featuring:
    • Garlic bread
    • 200g rump eye steak
    • Chicken skewer
    • Sides
    • A dessert
    • A glass of house selected wine, beer, or soft drink
  • The dining experience menu is subject to seasonal changes.
  • You will be notified of any subsequent changes at the commencement of the dining experience.
  • Any menu items consumed that are not explicitly included in the specified dining experience are charged in addition to those items offered within the dining experience at the conclusion of the dining experience.
  • The dining experience voucher cannot be:
    • Exchanged for cash, another dining experience voucher, or gift voucher
    • Credited or refunded for unused amounts
  • If lost or stolen, the voucher cannot be redeemed or replaced.
  • Dining experience vouchers are not redeemable on special event days.
  • Not valid with any other specials or promotions.

  1. Information on how to enter and Prize Details form part of these terms & conditions (Terms of entry) and must be read together with the details outlined in the Schedule above. The Schedule defines the terminology used in these Terms of entry. Where there is any inconsistency between these Terms and the Schedule, the Schedule prevails.  Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms of entry.

  2. Entry is open only to legal residents of the Eligible States/Territories who satisfy the Method of Entry. Directors, officers, management, employees, suppliers (including prize suppliers) and contractors (and the immediate families of directors, officers, management, employees, suppliers and contractors) of the Promoter and of its related bodies corporate, and of the agencies and companies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.

  3. The Promotion will be conducted during the Promotion Period.

  6. The Prize is valued in Australian dollars unless expressly stated to the contrary.

  7. Entrants agree to comply with any conditions which accompany the Promotion.

  8. The time zone applicable to any time stated relates to the State or Territory where the Promoter is located, unless expressly stated to the contrary.

  9. Neither the Promoter nor the supplier or voucher provider is liable for any voucher that has been stolen, forged, lost, damaged or tampered with in any way.

  10. Entrants are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings, and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of their prize(s). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from accepting a prize. Entrants are responsible for any and all expenses that they incur in entering the competition and they will not be reimbursed regardless of whether or not they win the competition.

  11. Entrants must follow the Method of Entry during the Promotion Period to enter the Promotion. Failure to do so will result in an invalid entry. The Promoter will not advise an Entrant if their entry is deemed invalid. 

  12. Your entry must be received during the Promotion Period and will be deemed to be received only when received by the Promoter.  You will receive a return message on-screen confirming your entry.  The Promoter is not liable for any problems with communications networks outside its reasonable control.  You are responsible for your own costs associated with entering the Promotion.  If you enter using automatically generated entries or multiple phone numbers/email addresses/addresses/aliases, you may be disqualified.  

  13. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, delayed, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted, illegible or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to omission, error, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, disruption to any communication network or medium, or otherwise including those entries not received by the Promoter for any reason.  The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred. No correspondence will be entered into.

  14. The Prize will be awarded to the best entry as judged in accordance with the Prize selection details. Entries must not have been published previously and/or have been used to win prizes in any other competitions. The judges reserve the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the opinion of the judges, includes objectionable content or does not meet the criteria relating to the method of entry. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  15. The winner does not need to be present at the draw unless expressly stated to the contrary.

  16. The winner will be notified in accordance with the Notification of Winners and Notification of Unclaimed Prize Winners (if applicable) sections of the Schedule. Notification to Winners will be deemed to have occurred on the later of the time the winner receives actual notification from the Promoter or two business days thereafter. The notification will include details about how the Prize can be claimed.

  17. The winner(s) name and State/Territory of residence will be published in accordance with the Public Announcement of Winners section of the Schedule (if applicable).

  18. The Promoter takes no responsibility where it is unable to contact prize winners who have not provided correct or complete contact details. If an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to modify any entry information should be directed to Promoter.

  19. The Promoter may conduct an Unclaimed Prize Selection in accordance with the Unclaimed Prize Selection section of the Schedule (if applicable). In the event the Unclaimed Prize Selection takes place, the Promoter will attempt to contact the winner(s) of the Unclaimed Prize Selection in accordance with the Notification of Unclaimed Prize Selection section of the Schedule, and if applicable, the name and State/Territory of residency of any winner(s) of the Unclaimed Prize Selection will be published in accordance with the section of the Schedule entitled Public Announcement of Winners from Unclaimed Prize Selection. If a prize is no longer capable of being redeemed, the new winner will receive a prize, as determined by the Promoter, of equivalent value (as if the original prize had been awarded to that person, less any administrative expenses incurred by the Promoter). 

  20. To the greatest extent permitted by law, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this competition excludes all warranties, representations or guarantees (Warranties) regarding the Promotion and any prizes, including any Warranties which may have been made in the course of advertising or promoting the Promotion. The conduct of the Promotion or the supplier of prizes or vouchers may involve third parties, and the Promoter makes no Warranties and disclaims all liability in connection with any such third parties, their acts or omissions. By entering the Promotion, an entrant releases and indemnifies the Promoter and its related bodies corporate (including the officers, employees and agents of each) from and against all actions, penalties, liabilities, claims or demands the entrant may have against the Promoter or that the Promoter may incur for any loss or damage which is or may be suffered or sustained as a direct or indirect result of an entrant entering or participating in the Promotion or winning or failing to win a prize, or using or permitting any other person to use the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law or which would cause any part of this clause to be void or unenforceable. 

  21. It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize and the Prize supplier’s requirements. Prizes and all elements of prizes must be taken as specified, as and when offered and cannot be altered or changed in any way by you or will be forfeited, and if forfeited, the Promoter will not be liable.  If you forfeit the prize or any element of the prize for whatever reason, you will not be given cash or any alternative prize as a substitute. Prize/s are subject to any additional terms and conditions imposed by the relevant supplier or the Promoter, including, as relevant:

    • validity period/s;

    • booking and availability of flights, accommodation and events;

    • conditions of travel and conditions of entry into any event venues (including behaviour requirements, health and safety requirements and applicable dress codes);

    • conditions of ticket validity and any restrictions on ticket on-sale or transfer; 

    • travel dates and specified travel exclusion periods; 

    • any additional fees (payable by you) relating to changes made by you/your companion to a travel/event prize after it has been booked; 

    • the requirement to obtain all necessary documents to travel to any overseas location specified, including a current and valid passport and any visas required; and

    • a requirement to present your credit card when checking in to accommodation.

  22. Entrant and your companion are responsible for all other unspecified costs related to the prize, including meals, transport, insurance (including excesses), in-room charges, additional taxes, mobile or data plans, etc.  Event tickets can only be used once and will be deemed invalid if copied.  The Promoter does not control entry to the relevant event location. The winner/s must keep their tickets safe, and the Promoter will not replace lost or stolen tickets.  

  23. The Promoter is not responsible for any dispute between you and any person with whom you choose to, or choose not to, share a prize.

  24. Where relevant, the Promoter accepts no responsibility if one or more of the events or activities awarded as part of the prize are abandoned, called off or postponed for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.  In that case the entrant/your companion/s forfeit your entitlement to that event/activity and the Promoter may provide another item of equal or higher value, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.  

  25. Any material failure by you or your companion to comply with the conditions imposed by the prize supplier(s) may result in the prize being cancelled or withdrawn without liability for the Promoter or the prize supplier(s). 

  26. For event-based/travel prizes, you and your companion accept that some aspects of the prize may be inherently risky and that the prize may involve dangerous activities.  

  27. If specified, in order to participate in the activity/activities awarded as part of the prize, you/your companion must comply with any applicable conditions (e.g. height, weight, health and fitness requirements).  You must ensure that you/your companion/are healthy and fit enough to take the prize.  You/your companion/s must follow all requirements of the people responsible for managing the relevant activity/ies.  

  28. You/your companion must, if required by the Promoter, sign disclaimer and release forms provided by the Promoter in favour of the Promoter and other parties before taking the prize.  If you or any companion/s do not sign, your entry will be deemed invalid and you will lose any entitlement to a prize. 

  29. If you or your entry are deemed by the Promoter to breach these Terms and Conditions materially including if the prize is on set dates and you are unable to take the prize on the relevant date/s, your entry (or at the Promoter’s discretion, all of your entries) may be discarded.  The Promoter may, at any time, require you to produce documentation to establish to the Promoter’s reasonable satisfaction the validity of your entries and/or verifying your identity (including documentation establishing your identity, age, place of residence and place of employment).  Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights. 

  30. You must not:

    • tamper with the entry process (including but not limited to manipulating the system via bots, script use, or any other means to circumvent the entry process);

    • engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition;

    • act in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive or harassing manner;

    • do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or of the agencies or companies associated with this competition;

    • breach any law; or

    • behave in a way that is otherwise inappropriate.  

  31. You are responsible for your companion and the Promoter may disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by, you or your companion if they materially breach these conditions, whether or not legally bound by them. 

  32. If you (or your companion), in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter (and/or a medical professional, as relevant to the circumstances), are intoxicated, under the influence of alcohol or any other drug, behave aggressively or offensively, or behave in a manner which may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or the agencies or companies associated with this competition, is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate, the Promoter may cancel the prize or restrict you (and your companion) from participating in any elements of the prize, at its discretion. 

  33. If any dispute arises between you and the Promoter concerning the conduct of this competition or claiming a prize, the Promoter will take reasonable steps to consider your point of view, taking into account any facts or evidence you put forward, and to respond to it fairly within a reasonable time.  In all other respects, the Promoter’s decision in connection with all aspects of this competition is final.

  34. Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged nor redeemed for cash.  Without limiting any other term of these Terms and Conditions, all prizes (and elements of prizes) must be taken as and when specified, or will be forfeited with no replacement.  The prize values are correct as at the date of preparing these Terms and Conditions and include any applicable GST.  The Promoter is not responsible for any change in prize value.  You agree that if a prize (or element of a prize) is unavailable for any reason the Promoter may provide another item of equal or higher value, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities. 

  35. By entering, you request that your full address not be published.

  36. If this competition cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter’s control (for example due to software, hardware or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud or technical failure, government directives, a pandemic, public health orders and the like), the Promoter may end, change, suspend or cancel the competition or disqualify affected entries/entrants, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.

If you are a winner, you and your companion agree to take part in all publicity, photography and other promotional activity as the Promoter requires, without any compensation.  You/your companion consent to the Promoter using your name/s and image/s in any promotional or advertising activity.
