Wines on Poath
Located on Poath Road and open until late, Wines on Poath is a treasure trove of fantastic wines and craft beers.
Head to the back of the bottle shop to the bar and take your pick of the craft beers on tap or wines available by the glass. You can also choose from the four fridges filled with bottled beers, or the collection of 200 wine bottles, and pay a corkage fee to consume these on site.
Risk Bar
Just minutes from the shopping centre by car, Risk Bar is a lively hot spot that’s known for its cocktails.
At this cocktail bar in Chadstone, you can take a seat outside to watch the world go by, or sit inside to watch the bartender create and serve magic.
While there are wine and beer options, cocktail favourites include the Risk Signature drink (featuring Fireball!), and the refreshing Mojito.
Fonda Mexican
It’s hard to go past an expertly made Margarita, and Fonda Mexican has them in spades.
Found within Chadstone Shopping Mall, Fonda serves casual Mexican food and delicious meals. Their Margarita menu includes fascinating drinks such as a Jalapeno Kombucha, and classic favourites such as the Espresso Martini and an Aperol Spritz.
If you’re with a group, consider a cocktail that’s made for sharing – either the Red, Red Wine Sangria, or the Sucker Punch.
Matthew Flinders Hotel
A local favourite, the Matthew Flinders Hotel is one of the most well-known bars in Chadstone.
The bistro itself is a great place to unwind over a few casual drinks with friends, but the real draw card here is the bowling alley. The Alleyz Bowling Alley is within the bistro itself, so you’ll either find yourself having a go, or watching as everyone else attempts to land a strike after a few drinks.
And the best part – you don’t have to wear stinky bowling shoes, you can wear your own shoes!

The Meat & Wine Co has arrived in Chadstone with a splash – a splash of wine, that is.
